About Villa Gioiella
Villa Gioiella sits in the small Umbrian village of Gioiella, close to the Tuscan border, with vineyards, olive groves and the Val di Chiana stretching out around it.
Cortona, Montepulciano and Lake Trasimeno are all within easy reach, but some of the best bits are much closer to home. Walk into the village for coffee, an aperitivo or pizza, pick up something for dinner at the local shop, then come back to the terrace for sunset.
It’s a place for living in Italy, rather than simply visiting it.
Gioiella Village
Gioiella is a small, lived-in Umbrian village. Walk to Bar Ruota for coffee, an aperitivo or pizza, pick up groceries from the village shop, and get to know the rhythms of everyday life here.
It’s one of the things we love most about the villa: you can spend the day exploring Tuscany and Umbria, then come home to a village where everything you need is a few steps away.
